The “Cool Kyoto 2012” Management Committee, consisting of Kyoto Prefecture, TBS Television, and other organizations, will hold the second “Cool Kyoto 2012” event this year, featuring the display of the “Made in Kyoto” products collection and business meetings as per the following schedule. These products have a connection with the “Cool Japan” campaign concept, and the technologies and ideals applied to these products can be found in modern lifestyles: |

Kyoto is a place where culture and tradition, grown throughout a long history, remain an integral part of people’s lives, livelihoods and corporate managements. A collection of products, which have a connection with the worldwide renowned promotional campaign “Cool Kyoto”, and which have technologies and ideals of Kyoto found in modern lifestyles, will be showcased at the event. This event aims to cultivate a worldwide market and build new Kyoto brands, and promote Kyoto products from the Tokyo metropolitan area to the rest of the nation. |
